Question: When should you get a transmission flush and a brake flush?

Everytime I go to the dealership, they suggest a transmission flush and a brake flush. I don't see anything in my Mazda manual about it so I don't know if it's necessary. My car only has $40,000 miles on it and I've had it for over 3 years. Please advise! Thank you.

Transmission fluid should be changed every 30,000 miles, so your dealership may be right. For the brakes, try bleeding them a bit, check for air bubbles. If your noticing quite a few, you probably should just change out the fluid. Either that or just try to clear the bubbles and replace the fluid you lost.
